簡要自傳 bio
  • Dr. Hsien-Hui Tang is an assistant professor in the National University of Taiwan of Science and Technology. He was trained as an industrial designer, and received his phd in the field of design thinking at key center of design computing and cognition in the faculty of Architecture at Sydney University under the supervision of Prof. John Gero.Tang has published 6 journals papers and 44 conferences papers in both English and Chinese. Most of the research topics are twofold firstly around design thinking, sketches, and protocol analysis methodology in both individual and collaborative design processes and secondly around the cognitive psychology of elderly users while using digital devices. He has been reviewers for design studies, international journal of design, and important conferences in design thinking, such as DCC, AID, and VSRID.In terms of design education, he has been organized international design workshops, inviting international designers from US, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and Europe. At the time, he teaches Scenarios Workshop in industry and educational institutes, focusing on human-centered innovative collaborative design.
  • 本人唐玄輝畢業於成大工業設計大學部及交大應用藝術研究所，於1998年獲得澳洲教育部全額獎學金赴雪梨攻讀博士，接受雪梨大學建築學系設計運算 與認知研究中心John S. Gero教授的指導，2002年初受邀回交大擔任客座助理教授，年中至長庚大學工業設計學系擔任專任助理教授，並創立設計資訊與思考研究室，2007轉至 台灣科技大學任教。
  • 2002年至今工作經歷可分三方面說明。研究方面，延續博士研究議題，持續探索設計思考領域，並延伸至銀髮族認知心理層面的人機介面分析，每年保持一篇期 刊、1至2篇國際研討會、及一件國科會研究案，同時也積極參予國際設計研究事務，曾任國內外重要設計期刊評審委員，包含Design Studies、International Journal of Design、設計學報等。
  • 設計實務方面，積極引介國際設計資源舉辦國際設計營，包含美國、澳洲、日本、新加坡、歐洲等地的設計師，其中包含IDEO創辦人之一Bill Moggridge先生。又與目前設計協會理事長梁又照教授持續舉辦情境故事法設計工作坊，除研究生參與外，還與研華科技與長庚養生文化村等大型機構舉辦跨領域合作設計。目前接受台大INSIGHT中心支援，執行使用者導向創新設計課程，結合台科大設計與台大科技的力量。
  • 服務方面，曾主導長庚工業設計研究所的課程及教學規劃，擔任系級與所級的課委會主席、招生委員及輔導導師。教學方面以研究所為主，教授設計主軸課及研究必修課程，選修課程則以設計思考、設計研究、人機互動等研究方向來開課，同時教授大二設計主軸課程及大三數位設計媒材，2005年曾擔任大四畢業設計主指導 及專刊指導，教學至今平均每年指導三位碩士班同學。
  • 目前研究方向為設計思考(Design Thinking)、跨領域合作(Multidisciplinary Collaboration)、人機介面設計實務(HCI Design Practice)、情境故事法(Scenario Approach)、口語分析(Protocol Analysis)。
